For 6 years now, the annual Insurance Business Canada Awards (IBCAs) has been recognized as the leading independent awards program in the insurance profession across the nation.
The awards recognize the outstanding brokers, brokerages, insurers, underwriters, MGAs and risk managers for their achievements, leadership and innovation over the past 12 months.
Finalists will be announced in Insurance Business Canada (IBC) magazine and online channels in August. Winners will be revealed at the celebratory awards show on November 18, 2021 and profiled in Insurance Business magazine.
The IBCAs is presented by Insurance Business Canada (IBC), the resource of choice for the country's most forward-thinking insurance brokers and advice professionals.
The IBCAs has long been the industry event of the year. In 2020, determined to keep celebrating the industry despite the events of a turbulent year, we revamped the IBCAs as a comprehensive virtual awards program, complete with the official prize announcements, inspiring live virtual panel discussions with finalists and sponsors, and online networking with the wider insurance community.

The insurance industry is difficult and can be stressful, in particular through a market turn like we're in right now. I think people are working hard at every level of the industry to continue to provide solutions and solve problems for customers.
